Our aim is to provide you with an online platform where you can air your views .. and be heard!
NATIONAL CARERS VOICE (NCV) is an independent, autonomous and self-funded organisation that aims to give Unpaid Carers a loud and very important voice.

We intend to achieve this by continuous representation to government, carrying out in-depth surveys, our own research, using petitions where relevant, campaigning to for more recognition and higher benefits, focusing on the issues that really matter, questioning those that make the laws and promoting the causes that you, and our site visitors and contributors, highlight.
And it is your views that are our concern .. and it is your views we seek. We have internally outlined a series of subjects that we think Ministers and MPs should address. But these are not exclusive .. please us let know what topics you would like us to consider and we, whenever we can, will take the appropriate action.
info@disabilitytalk.co.uk (Disability Talk – www.disabilitytalk.co.uk – is our ‘sister’ organisation).

So please email us us with your views on what it’s like to be unpaid carer. And how you think the system should be changed .. plus your thoughts on the level of benefits that are currently ‘available’ for unpaid carers.
Every email will be read and, where applicable, acted upon – and if relevant it will be sent it to the appropriate person or organisation.
NATIONAL CARERS VOICE is a campaigning and activist organisation .. and will vigorously act to better the lives of unpaid carers. But we do need to hear from you.

Our Mission Statement
“To provide an online platform where the UK’s 13m+ unpaid carers can be heard and voice their thoughts. We want you to air your views and, where we are able, we will act upon them. We have a working relationship with several Ministers and MPs and charities plus we can direct your questions to the most relevant people and organisations.
We aim to provide advice and to campaign upon your behalf. Our initial petition was created to raise (from the Government) an annual fund of £25 million to fund extra respite breaks .. and cover for carers whilst they take a mini-break.
We are determined that it is you, as an unpaid carer, who will drive our company forward giving it the information we need to challenge the authorities and provide you with a more purposeful life. Email us at: info@disabilitytalk.co.uk .”
We, and our sister company Disability Talk, are well known in Government circles.
This will enable us to:
- Create Petitions
- Lobby Ministers
- Lobby Shadow Ministers
- Campaign
- Organise Surveys
- Arrange Focus Groups
- Obtain National Publicity
- Ask you through out Chat Forum what you feel needs changing
- Encouraging your emails to give us an Agenda to take to Parliament
- To continually represent you
